Clue User Conference 2022  

The Clue User Conference has grown in popularity each year, becoming an important date in our users’ calendars. As well as ensuring our customers are gaining maximum value from the Clue platform, the goal of the annual event is to provide a valuable networking opportunity, enabling like-minded experts from a range of cross-sector organisations to connect, collaborate and share best practice.

A packed agenda

During the day, we will highlight latest developments from Clue, hear case studies from Clue users, and explore topics and key themes in investigations and intelligence.

Keynoting the event is speaker Dame Sara Thornton, CBE, former Modern Slavery Commissioner, and previous Chair of National Police Chiefs’ Council, with more high-profile names and organisations to be announced in the coming months.

Later in the day, we will be recognising ground-breaking work with the Clue User of the Year Award. This coveted accolade will recognise an organisation, team or individual that has used Clue to deliver outstanding results.

“Our conference continues to attract high-calibre speakers. In 2018, it played host to Sir Mark Rowley QPM, former Head of Counter-Terror policing in the UK and newly appointed Met Police Commissioner, who reflected on the changing nature of investigations in a digital world. 

“This year, we are thrilled to welcome Dame Sara Thornton, CBE, an incredibly knowledgeable and influential figure in law enforcement and the world of investigations in general. 

“Clue’s users represent organisations from policing, government, NGOs, sports teams and governing bodies, private sector, and more. Spanning organisations from teams of two to more than 1 million, all are united in their dedication to safeguarding and driving better outcomes for society through enhanced investigations and intelligence management – when these individuals are brought together, there is huge collective value to be gained.”  

Highlights from 2021

Last year, the Clue User Conference welcomed over 250 delegates from more than 70 organisations to Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea FC, and remotely online. 

Highlights from the conference included engaging case studies from the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA), League Against Cruel Sports, and NHS Counter Fraud Authority.  

Meanwhile, the role of data as both the biggest opportunity and biggest challenge to Clue users was tackled in a session led by data law-expert Gareth Oldale, partner at TLT LLP, and in a panel featuring British Council, Three Mobile, and an independent safeguarding expert.
