Cricket Regulator

The Cricket Regulator has adopted Clue to strengthen integrity, anti-discrimination, and safeguarding in cricket.

The Cricket Regulator is an independent body tasked with overseeing integrity, tackling discrimination, and ensuring safeguarding in cricket.

To support its mission, the Regulator has implemented Clue, our leading intelligence, investigation and risk management software, to enhance transparency, efficiency, and consistency across its operations.

Challenges

Before implementing Clue, the Integrity team relied on fragmented systems, leading to inefficiencies and potential information gaps in investigations. Its Anti-Discrimination Unit faced similar issues, with jurisdictional complexities and manual processes limiting reporting capabilities and collaboration.

How Clue will help

Clue will benefit three of the Cricket Regulator’s core teams:

  • Integrity: A comprehensive case management platform to centralise data, ensure thorough investigations, and improve transparency.
  • Anti-Discrimination Unit: A new integrated webform to streamline reporting and triage, enabling faster, more accurate case handling and collaboration.
  • Safeguarding: From 2025, Clue will unify safeguarding operations, increasing efficiency and coordination across teams

Chris Haward, Director of the Cricket Regulator, said: “The implementation of Clue is key to understanding our demand and improving our case management processes.  It will bring significant efficiencies to our working processes together with the ability to identify common themes and repeat offenders more readily.  This will, undoubtedly, help us achieve our mission to keep cricket safe from harm.”

By adopting Clue, the Cricket Regulator is poised to strengthen its processes and ensure it can uphold the highest standards of integrity and governance in cricket.
